VF SMOOTH N RARE (aka Red) is a 2001 Sorrel AQHA Stallion by the phenomenal, On The Money Red (SI 103) out of Shots Rate Jet, who is an own daughter of the legendary Rare Jet (SI 109). Red is co-owned by Valerie VanSickle-Kiphart and Cody Clemens. He stands to the public at Clemens Performance Horses LLC in Malta, OH, he is 15.0 Hands tall, and weighs 1100 lbs. Also, he is enrolled in Future Fortunes, Kentucky, Indiana, and Surrounding States (K.I.S.S.), and the National Pole Bending Association (NPBA); therefore his foals are eligible for enrollment.

VF Smooth N Rare is a former 1D performer, an AQHA ROM earner, and a 2009 IQHA Circuit Champion. He is also the full brother to VF Lady In Red (LTE 30,000+) and VF Candy Money, Top 5 in the Juvenile at the BFA with Latricia (Duke) Mundorf. According to Mundorf, “VF Candy Money is the fastest, most talented horse that I’ve ever swung a leg over.” Raya Augenstein and her 2010 mare, Smooth N Faithful, who is by VF Smooth N Rare, was the 2021 All American Quarter Horse Congress Champion in Pole Bending for 14-18 year old youth riders.
